For those that need their carbonation fix, may we suggest a healthier, yet tasty alternative? Buy club soda instead, and mix it with other beverages like lemonade, orange juice (great for breakfast!) or iced tea! The possibilities really are limitless...and if you have a glass of half orange juice and half club soda, for instance, you get a great tasting drink with a lot less sugar than a full glass of orange juice. Club soda is relatively inexpensive, and it pretty much gives you zeros across the board (ie. calories, caffeine, sugars, carbs, and very little sodium)! Is that energy drink a bit too potent? Try diluting it by pouring half of it into a glass with some club soda! Another great idea is to pour a glass of club soda, and squeeze a piece of lemon into it!
Try going the club soda route the next time you're in the grocery store and staring down the beverage aisle...you'll be glad you did!
